Section 8 Consulting LLC, doing business as Section 8 Karim ("Section 8 Karim," "we," "us," "our"), respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our websites — including section8karim.com and boringrichbook.com (the "Websites") — to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Websites when properly reported to our Designated Copyright Agent identified below.

REPORTING CLAIMS OF COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT (TAKEDOWN NOTICE)

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that material available on our Websites infringes your copyrighted work, please submit a written notification containing all of the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works;
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (for example, the URL);
4. Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

OUR RESPONSE TO VALID NOTICES

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, make a good-faith attempt to notify the user who posted the material (where applicable), and take reasonable steps to prevent repeat infringement.

COUNTER-NOTIFICATION

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our Designated Copyright Agent containing all of the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature;
2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled;
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
4. Your name, mailing address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if you reside outside the United States, the Eastern District of Louisiana), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or an agent of that person.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original notice. If we do not receive notice within ten (10) business days that the original complainant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the removed material in accordance with the DMCA.

REPEAT INFRINGERS

It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances, to terminate the accounts or access of users who are repeat infringers.

All content published by Section 8 Karim — including the book Boring Rich, the 90-Day First Deal Roadmap, the Section 8 Investor Kit, and all related worksheets, spreadsheets, checklists, videos, graphics, and materials — is the intellectual property of Section 8 Consulting LLC or its licensors. If you discover our content being reproduced, resold, or distributed without authorization, please report it to karim@section8karim.com. We actively enforce our intellectual property rights, including through DMCA takedown notices and legal action where appropriate.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time by posting updates to this page. Continued use of the Websites after changes constitutes acceptance of such changes.
